HR 2020:  At the Roundtable - Gaining the Respect of Senior Leadership

Hon. Thom Epsky Bio Picture

Presented By:

20/20 Vision is a term used to express normal visual acuity (the clarity or sharpness of vision) measured at a distance of 20 feet. Having 20/20 vision does not necessarily mean one has perfect vision. Peripheral awareness, eye coordination, depth perception, focusing ability, and color vision all contribute to one’s overall visual ability.  As we embark on the year 2020, simply having a seat at the “Roundtable” does not guarantee HR’s perfect image. This session will explore the important competencies HR professionals need in 2020 to enhance their business partners’ perceptions of HR’s overall value.

After this presentation, the attendee will be able to:

  1. Identify the key areas executive teams need HR to look at for at all times
  2. Recognize the steps an HR professional can take to elevate their role in their
  3. Understand what it means to be a strategic partner and how to demonstrate the
value HR can play in an organization to keep the seat in the C-Suite
